Our story
The inception of Finafrican Saunas traces back to a moment of enjoyment, relaxing and seated comfortably on a bench in a sauna within the steam of a traditional wood-burning heater.
One of the Founders being African-born and based, recognized the inherent joy of the sauna experience and was determined to bring the authentic Finnish essence to Southern Africa.
Joined by a Finnish Partner and Co-Founder who shared the vision, they embarked on a journey to create the best sauna experience. After years of planning and dedication, Finafrican Saunas emerged, ready to introduce Africa to the timeless tradition of saunas with an enriching African touch.

Finafrican saunas combine the proper Finnish wood-burning sauna heater with the African-built sauna walls. We use only the best Finnish design heaters created by Ab Juup Oy and for sauna buildings, we combine ancient Finnish sauna knowledge combined with first class Swazi-carpentry.
